South Korean carmaker Kia is using American actor Christopher Walken to plug its Optima sedan in a campaign called ‘Walken Closet’. It’s based around a fellow’s choice of beige-coloured socks in a drawer in his ‘walk-in closet.’ Walken tells him to think of the new Optima as the ‘world’s most exciting pair of socks.” The ad will screen in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s (Monday NZ time) Super Bowl, the annual American football extravaganza.
